- The VDE series enclosures are extensively used as weighing stations, light duty fume hoods, science classroom workstations, solvent cleaning work bays, or for veterinary pathology and cytology.
- The Gelman Synerflow VDE Series Ventilated Ducted Enclosures maintain an average face velocity of 100 fpm through the work access opening.
- An effective air barrier between the operator and the work chamber, maintained by an inward flow of room air into a full-width work access opening of 10" provides personnel and laboratory protection.
- The barrier air blends with the contaminants released within the work chamber and is totally exhausted to the outside atmosphere via the building exhaust system.
